(1) Born in Govan and raised in Penilee two notorious housing schemes in the South Side of Glasgow, MOG has built himself a reputation for being a true lyricist, with his gritty autobiographical rhymes and his unmatched flows and delivery. His poignant observations of life in all its many guises around him, and his social commentary make for a compelling and rewarding listen on many levels.

One half of Forgotten Policy with JKC and a member of the Being crew, MOG is a prolific writer and keen social observer and has collaborated with many artists including Madhat McGore, Werd (SOS), Wardie Burns, Nity Gritz, All Time High and Many more.

He has also released two solo albums previously, first was The Grey Area which included the track Roon Here which was voted the number 1 song of 2009 by the Scottish Hip Hop forum.

MOG has also released Based on A Blue Story to critical acclaim and inspired a whole new generation of rappers to pick up the mic and the pen, as well as giving a generation of people some real quality songs that they can relate to. He is currently working in the Studio with Steg G preparing his next album for release on Powercut productions, which is currently provisionally called "In Black and White" .

All of MOG's albums have had a colour related theme to them as he often visualises sound and music as colours.

(2) Mog is a singer-songwriter based in Canberra, Australia. Something different, yet accessible. Mog's songs are mostly indie rock, with a pop twist.

It's a modern style in which melody is king. Mog's songs are evocative and edgy, featuring a unique blend of angst, wit and insight.

Mog is a Grand Prize Winner in the prestigious 2009 John Lennon Songwriting Contest, a Winner in both the 2010 and 2012 Great American Song Contest, and a Winner in both the 2009 and 2010 100% Music Songwriting Contest (France).

Mog was also a finalist winner in the International Songwriting Competition in 2007 and 2008. To quote the New York Times, this "is the songwriting competition to take note of".

Mog's first album "Nine" was released in 2009 to widespread critical acclaim.

His second album "Seldom Seen" was released in 2010 and attracted plenty of attention with two of its songs winning songwriting competitions.

Mog then released an EP, "Faux", in 2012, which included a song that won the Great American Song Contest.

This was followed up by a new album, "Travel Light", in 2014 which was critically acclaimed.

In September 2016 Mog released probably his strongest album yet, titled "Like Honey".
