There are at least two acts using Periskop:
1) Dark ambient and deep techno project from Aarhus, Denmark. It is the solo project of Danny Kreutzfeldt, who has previously been active under many different aliases on the electronic and extreme music scenes.
Started in the early 00s and since 2013 the only active guise of Kreutzfeldt. Past and present activities were selected, modified and rearranged on the monumental release 40. It contains forty full-length albums on a gatefold LP+USB-key format. Released by Uhrlaut Records and also available as a free mp3 download from www.periskop.cc.
In 2015 Periskop released the 3xLP album Immerse on Kabalion Records, followed up by two EPs the following year. Since 2008 Periskop is not an active live act, but several DJ appearances and podcasts has occurred since 2015. Kreutzfeldt is also currently active in the neofolk-inspired doom metal band SOL.
