There are multiple artists named Sanctum:

1) Sanctum is a death metal band from Australia. They released the full-length "Raped of Your Religion" in 1993.

2) Sanctum is an industrial group from Sweden, formed in 1994 and signed to the Cold Meat Industry label.

Håkan Paulsson and Jan Carleklev founded Sanctum in 1994, with the aim to have a more experimental approach than in their early work and also emphasizing the emotional aspect of their music. The group was later joined by singer Lena Robért and cellist Marika Kante.

Their music consists of industrial ambient, samples of sound and rhythm that form a challenging frame, combining harsh sounds with the more beautiful and light melodies, accepting the influence classic and modern orchestral music had on them. Related projects include: Mago, Parca Pace and Azure Skies.

Their albums include Lupus in Fabula, Let's Eat, New York City Bluster, Clarify 2.0, and A Moment Out of Ten Years.

3) Sanctum is a heavily metal influenced crust punk band from Seattle, Washington, USA. They formed in 2004 and broke up in 2008. They released two EPs, a split record with Stormcrow (US), and a full-length LP titled "On the Horizon". They are similar to Stormcrow (US), early Bolt Thrower, and early Sacrilege (UK).

4) Sanctum is an MC from Leuven, Belgium. Originally one half of S.E.C.U. (La Sagesse Elevé par la Communication Oublié), he persued a solo career. His first album "Opper-rationeel" was free to download from his website. In 2002, it was released by Mental Records. A second record "Amor Fati" followed in 2004. He released his latest, "De bevestiging", in 2006.
