Saving Aimee are six school friends from St Albans who decided to form a band after watching friends Enter Shikari and Friendly Fires play at their local youth club, the Pioneer in St Albans, UK.

With absolutely no plan at all, they set out to conquer the world (of British Legions, working men’s clubs and small fetes!). They borrowed a drum kit, two guitars, a bass and an old Roland synth. Most importantly, they borrowed a clapped out white van. Four years later things are slightly different for the boys.

Returning from a sold-out UK tour littered with stage invasions and fans locking doors for encores, the band have confirmed an August 3rd release date for their single ‘We’re the Good Guys’, available through Hey You! / Autonomy Recordings. This single is the title track from their debut album which will be out this autumn.

“We’re the Good Guys” is the follow-up to 2008’s free download single 'Small Talk' which received regular rotation on Kerrang TV, The Box, 4Music and Scuzz. This single also received airplay on Radio 1’s Zane Lowe show, as well as enjoying A-list rotation on Kerrang Radio for several months.

The band’s live show is explosive. Their pop-rock laced chaos is fast consolidating their reputation as one of the best live bands on the circuit. Saving Aimee deliver fun and energetic performances that knowingly whip their audiences into a frenzy of feel good fury. The band have supported the likes of Enter Shikari, Kill Hannah, Go Audio, Hot Leg and Simple Plan

Saving Aimee broke up 14th December 2009. .
