The Kliukvins formed 2003 as a side project by A.D., the member of legendary experimental formation RBiD (standing for "Ruslan Bodelan and the Fools" formed 1996).
The first Kliukvins demo recording released with the help of CoRBiD Records and their friends ATMO Rec (later turning into CardioWave Rec.) was marked with some live performances in Medusa Club and few appearances at the fests of ATMOSphere Radio in Odessa and Kiev.
Getting started from the some kind of electronic new wave tunes, in two years the band came to their own genre, that can be describes as Ukrainian sci-fi new wave based on the experiences of eternal space journeys (the band calls their genre slippergaze, wich is local funny word for shoegaze).
Well, they’re not a real band of flesh and blood. One person plays keyboards, bass, guitars and does some drums programming. But there were (and still are) many collaborations with plenty of talented musicians such as Moxley, Y.Z., Olia P., and many others.
At the present time A.D. also plays bass and does some back vox in Amurekimuri and holds his own side project named 4th Layer.
Also CardioWave.Net says about the band: A.D. says, that his agitated and throbbing music is nothing less than reflection of his own emotional experiences, feelings and aspiration for changing this world for the better.
