To say that Tim Andresen is one of Scandinavia's leading DJs is almost an understatement. Considered the busiest and most influential man in Danish house music, Tim Andresen is now well established as a producer, remixer, promoter, label owner and one of just a few successful DJs out of Scandinavia with truly international reach.

He forms one half of Professional Losers signed to Norman Cook’s mighty Southern Fried imprint, Mark Knight’s Toolroom stable as one of the “Leaders Of The New School” and has also released on other respected labels such as Oven Ready, Wallop and Frosty Music under the rather unusual moniker. Proving himself more professional than loser, Tim’s global reputation has continued to grow with solo work successfully released on the UK’s longest running house label Azuli, Big In Ibiza, Distinctive, Suesse Records, Kinky Digital, Fizzeek, Strawberry Blonde, 1980 Recordings, Fragile, Frosty Music, Nightology, Dumb Recordings, Jeepers Music, Push It Recordings and of course a whole string of releases and remixes on his own label What Happens. He has had support from Pete Tong on The Essential Selection and further plays from the likes of Erick Morillo, Dubfire, Sharam, Laurent Garnier, Hernan Cattaneo, Nic Fanciulli, Nick Warren and dancemusic’s biggest superstar Fatboy Slim whom he was also asked to remix. Constantly showing his undeniable talent, his productions have climbed various charts reaching 1 in the UK buzzchart, and topped bestseller charts at DJ Download, Ministry of Sound Download, Xpressbeats and Juno Download. You’ll now see his tracks feature on some of the World’s most well known compilation CDs from Space, Ministry Of Sound and Club Azuli amongst others.

Looking at the past, he won the Best DJ award at the Club Awards 2007, won the prestigious Most Popular Nordic DJ award (voted by the Scandinavian clubbers in 2007) and has been nominated for Best DJ 7 years running at the Danish DJ Awards making it a staggering 17 nominations overall in the 9 years history of the awards, proving his legendary contribution to the Danish nightlife over the last decade. As a highly skilled and much in demand international DJ, Tim Andresen has taken his music to nearly 35 different countries, headlining for brands like the Ministry Of Sound Tour, Godskitchen and Azuli and playing some of the finest clubs on the planet like Pacha, Space and the World’s biggest club Privelegé in Ibiza, Fabric and Turnmills in London, Redlight in Paris and dozens of others. As a globetrotting DJ, he has played to crowds everywhere from Shanghai to Buenos Aires and back to his exclusive Copenhagen residency What Happens at the famous club Culture Box, being the Copenhagen-based DJ with one of the biggest local followings.

Tim Andresen has selected and mixed two major CD compilations. Ministry Of Sound asked him to mix and compile volume 1 of the Ministry Sessions series for Scandinavia in 2003. He also mixed a compilation showcasing one of his previous club nights called Flow back in the summer of 2001. Plans for 2009 include the launch of a new compilation series on What Happens featuring the sound of his label and club night.

This year will see Tim Andresen’s star continue to rise. Never one to rest on the laurels, he has big things in the pipeline for 2009 and with tour dates lined up across the World and numerous tracks and remixes ready for release on various labels, the profile of the Danish whirlwind is about to explode even further… .
