Baklava is acoustic neoethno band, consisting of a female vocal and traditional (macedonian) folk instruments (kaval, tambura, def), primarily basing their sound on string instruments, but are not hesitant to incorporate other instruments (bassoon, tarabuka when the music tells them to. They experiment with their take on the minimalist concept best expressed through the words Simplicity and Unpretentiousness.
