Rokash was formed as a "beer folk" band: simple melodies and lyrics,
similar to the music usually played by medieval minstrels.

Rokash has been giving concerts for two years, taking part in the festivals, such as Memento Mori Festival in Minsk, Vox Femina:Tribute to Flёur Festival, "Z wiejskiego podworza" Festival of the East Europe ethnic music in Poland. They have gived concerts with some well-known artists, such as Стары Ольса ("Reactor" club, Minsk), Flёur ("Step" club, Minsk), Meldis ("Archaelogy" clubs, Moscow), Neuro Dubel and others.

In summer 2007 the band decided to change their sound to a more hard rock sound with electric guitars and rather heavy drums. Восень is a first recorded song in new style.

In july 2011 the band's first album named "Запалі агонь" has been released.
