Oshima Yuko (大島優子), nickname "Yuuko" (ゆうこ), born October 17, 1988 in Mibu, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan is a Japanese actress, television host, and model, as well as a former member of idol group AKB48 and its sub-unit, Not yet.

She has been a contributing member for all of AKB48's singles since "Aitakatta" in October 2006, except for "Chance no Junban", "Ue Kara Mariko", "Eien Pressure", and "Kimi no Hohoemi wo Yume ni Miru".

Oshima has participated in four #1 singles: "River," "ポニーテールとシュシュ(Ponytail to Chouchou/)" and "ヘビーローテーション(Heavy Rotation)" as a member of AKB48, and "心の羽根( Kokoro no Hane/Wings of heart )" as a member of Team Dragon. In 2010, she was voted the most popular member of the group, in a poll for fans decided whom could appear as the center on the group's single "ヘビーローテーション( Heavy Rotation )."

She is also the first member who had solo performance "泣きながら微笑んで(Nakinagara Hohoende/Smile with tears )" in AKB48. This song has been highly ranked at every years' AX, which is a event hold for fans to vote best 100 songs of AKB48.

In 2008, AKB48's producer Yashushi Akimoto involved an anime called "ICE". He chose five members, included Yūko Ōshima, as voice artists and to sing the theme song for that work. The theme song names アイサレルトイウコト for ICE( Aisareru to iu Koto for ICE/as for the so-called "beloved" for ICE )

Oshima announced on December 31st at the 64th Kouhaku Uta Gassen that she would graduate from AKB48, officially leaving the group five months later on June 9, 2014. The day marked Oshima's last day as an idol and singer, deciding to instead focus on her acting career. .
