石鹸屋 (Sekken-ya, lit. Soap Shop) is a musical group that specializes in rock and punk style live band music. They're also well known as participants in the Flowering Night events, and served as the backing band for live performances of well-known ビートまりお (beatMario) works such as Help Me, ERINNNNNNN!!!

The band members are hellnian, 秀三 (Shuzo), 厚志 (Atsushi), and BOSS.

イノ (Ino) was the bassist originally, but left in 2007 for personal reasons, and was replaced with イガラシ (Igarashi). Igarashi left in 2010, and since, Ino had returned to the group. For a short time, Igarashi was credited as ササキ (Sasaki) for live shows and the TOHOHUM album in 2008. イノ (Ino) Has decided to leave again in 2012 and BOSS has stepped in since October, seeming to stay.

Atsushi has gone through a few name changes, originally ACE, sometimes stylized as エース, and on the 2008 Winter Comiket 石鹸屋＆COOL＆CREATE＆LIVE＆DOJO＆あまねりお DVD his name was stylized in katakana as アツシ. He officially changed his name from ACE to 厚志 in 2008 with a notification on the Hybrid Body promo website near the bottom of the page.

Sekkenya are releasing the new single Awake on January 23, 2013.

They collaborate with COOL&CREATE as ＴＨＥ　ＲＯＯＴＳ.

Contrary to their name, they do not sell soap.
