The Svengalis (Mart, Jim, Saul and Jonah) are a London based band who formed in 2006. Their first recording, produced by Junk Scientist (The Rakes, Larrikin Love), although not released received national UK radio play. The Svengalis were featured in session on Steve Lamacq's "In New Music We Trust" show on Radio 1. They also made no.3 in Lamacq's top 2006 demos and featured as channel4.com/music's artist of the week.
