Frumious Bandersnatch were a psychedelic, distortion pedal-jam band from San Fransisco, CA. Active from 1967-1969. The original lineup consisted of David Denny (guitar), Jack King (drums), Jimmy Warner (guitar), Ross Valory (bass), Bobby Winkelman (rhythmn & bass guitar). All But George Tickner were regular members of The Steve Miller band. Ross Valory and George Tickner would later join Neil Schon and Gregg Rolie to form Journey in 1973. .

Menelik Wèsnatchèw started out in 1961 at the Haile Sellassie I Theatre under the brilliant tutelage of Nersès Nalbandian, before joining Girma Bèyènè’s Ras Band in late-1965 / early 1966. He belongs firmly to the modernists who made their first, bold mark in the 1960s. In 1979, he took up a job in Sudan, leaving behind the Wallias Band and the comfort of the Hilton to flee Mengistu’s Ethiopia, and with a brief Egyptian interlude in 1983-85, he remained in exile in the Sudan until the fall of the dictator. .

Virgin Snatch sets up in 2001, as an alternative to permanently rehearsing but yet legendary in Cracow band named Death Sea. Why? The base of mentioned band are guitarist Grysik (Grzegorz Bryła) and vocalist Zielony (Łukasz 'Filippe' Zieliński). Both men did join Virgin Snatch. But from the beginning... The band was established by Jacek Sławeński (drums) and Bartek aka Sponsor, which came up with setting a new project. Of course neither without a name nor people to be engaged into. First musician that joined brand new band was Paweł 'Baby' Mąciwoda, known from such bands like Walk Away, Oddział Zamknięty...
