Filosofia Reggae surgiu há 8 anos em São Caetano do Sul, cidade do ABC paulista. Sua trajetória é marcada por uma tragédia e por desentendimentos entre seus membros fundadores. No inicio formavam a banda: Veto (Vocal), Português (Baixo), Sandro (Guitarra), Japonês (Guitarra), André (Bateria) e Wagner (percussão). Singer and guitarist F. Materia and singer and bassist S. Martelli formed italian combo Filofobia in 1998 as students at their hometown Arezzo, bonding on the strength of their shared affinity for the music of the British Invasion era.
