In August of 1995 Guus Meeuwis and his group ("Vagant") release their first single "Het is een nacht" (It is a night). It was a song that he wrote himself. The song became the summerhit of that year and was in the Dutch charts for 37 weeks! Whereas everyone thought they'd be a one-hit wonder, their debut album "Verbazing" (Amazement) enters the charts on number 1. Na een leerrijke inloopperiode van 1958 tot 1962 en aansluitend grote radio- en televisiewedstrijden tussen 1963 en 1965, startten de Antwerpse zangers hun kleinkunstloopbaan in 1966 als De Vaganten. De roemrijke kleinkunstwereld van de jaren ‘60 en ‘70 was hun muzikale habitat. In 1978 verlieten drie Vaganten voor altijd het podium maar Paul Vagant kon Herwig overtuigen om nog ‘even’ door te gaan als duo. In 1990 bleek de energie echter opgebruikt... Maar met de jaren kwam de goesting terug opzetten. In 2002 brachten Paul en Herwig eerst hun verzamel-cd uit en twee jaar later stonden ze terug vol enthousiasme...

Noctivagant is a dark ambient project hailing from Jacksonville, Florida, USA. The project, entirely comprised by a student named Jeff Reynolds, is influenced by artists such as Burzum, Narcotic Noise, Brian Eno, and various black metal acts. Noctivagant uses dark themes and subtle ambience to create an atmosphere in which many different worlds are explored. Despite its shadowy demeanor, the project aims to heal, relax, and cleanse through the medium of music. .

Guus Janssen (born 13 May 1951 in Heiloo, North Holland) is a Dutch composer of contemporary music and a recording artist. A pianist and harpsichordist, he is also active as a jazz performer. He studied piano and composition at the Sweelinck Academy of Music in Amsterdam with Ton de Leeuw (composition) and Jaap Spaanderman (piano). He also studied piano with Ton Hartsuiker. He has performed with John Zorn, George Lewis, Han Bennink, Theo Loevendie, and Gidon Kremer. He won the Matthijs Vermeulen Award in 1984. He composed two operas in collaboration with Friso Haverkamp and has released numerous CDs. .
