Marc Sadane was born in Savannah, Georgia.
He trained his vocal skills singing in the local church and became musical director for his local choir before moving into off-Broadway acting and singing in New York.
In New York City he also studied fashion design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
From here he joined a group Tungsten Steele and was lead singer for three years.
Marc then departed for a solo career in 1977 and became the vocalist for the house band at Mikell's.
He toured with Stephanie Mills which led to further popularity on the circuit.

Madame Edwarda was a post-punk / goth band from Japan, formed in 1980 and fronted by vocalist Zin-François Angélique. Highly influenced by the british early goth scene. They disbanded in 1985 but reformed in the recent years mostly to perform as resident act of Club Walpurgis, a goth club located in Tokyo, founded and held by Zin himself since mid 80's, it could be regarded as the Japanese Batcave.
The band's name comes from Georges Bataille's book "Madame Edwarda", published in 1941.

I'm an improviser. I started to perform my solo with the name of Madame P. In the past I was a co-founder and member of the seminal all-female band Allun. I was founder of Rosas Y Tulipanes duo. In 2004 I started collaborating with Luca Sigurta' in the highly experimental project Macaya, and with Tommaso Rolando and Marco Ravera - guitarist and doublebass player of the acclaimed jazz/fusion band Calomito - in the impro/jazzy ensemble called Toba.
My live sets are focused on the wide range of my vocal techniques: I experiment with my voice sampling it in real time...
Dana Dane (born Dana McLeese) is a rap artist known for humorous raps (performed with a fake English accent) and for his fashion sense. He was born in the Walt Whitman housing project in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, in New York City, and began his rap career as part of the Kongol Crew with fellow rapper Slick Rick, whom he sounded markedly similar to (Slick Rick's English lilt was actually genuine however).
