Killswitch Engage is a melodic metalcore band from Westfield, Massachusetts, United States. Formed in 1999 after the disbandment of Overcast and Aftershock. Killswitch Engage's current lineup consists of vocalist Jesse Leach, bassist Mike D'Antonio, guitarists Joel Stroetzel and Adam Dutkiewicz, and drummer Justin Foley. The band's membership has changed in the decade since its founding as illness, changes in life-situation, and new interests have drawn the men in different directions. b. 1959, Chicago, USA. When aged only 14 Gage joined the Soulettes with whom she stayed until she was 21. During this period they changed their name to First Love and then Love, subsequently recording an album for Chycago International Music in 1980. However, by then Gage had departed to join the backing singers for Captain Sky. She made her solo debut with ‘Garden Of Eve’ in 1981 on Atlantic Records to little reaction.
