Working under the inclusive category of experimental noise, chefkirk creates distinctive compositions of sound by combining together improvised drone and harsh electronics forced from a minimal arsenal of glitchy instruments and feedback loops. Being a socially and politically conscious citizen of the world, chefkirk illustrates his deep concern and love for all living things through the artwork, titles, and modest messages on his numerous releases. Originally titled SWEDISH BEAUTY, SWEDISH EROTICA date back to the mid 80s, but was to be plagued by ever shifting line-up problems. The first roster of this Glam outfit comprised of guitarist Magnus Axx, bassist Ulf Sandin, former TNT vocalist Dag Ingebrektsen, ex-MADISON guitarist Dan Stomberg and drummer Magnus Nybratt. This incarnation recorded one track for a Norwegian Rock compilation album before Nybratt and Stomberg left. Replacements were found in Anders Allhage, known more commonly as Andy LaRoche and presently a member of KING DIAMOND, and Jamie Borger.
