Amel Bent (born Amel Bentbachir on June 21, 1985 in Paris, France) is a French singer who grew up in the French commune of Joué-lès-Tours with her Algerian father and Moroccan mother. Oscar Benton (born Ferdinand van Eif on February 3, 1949) is a Dutch vocalist and the founder of the Oscar Benton Blues Band in 1967. The band rose to fame in 1968 by being a runner up in the Jazz Festival, Loosdrecht, Holland. In his solo career, Oscar Benton released with his 1981 homonymous album the Bensonhurst Blues, written by Artie Kaplan & Artie Kornfeld, and produced by the EMI Records. Bread and Circuits were a band that formed in 1999 and released a self-titled LP on Ebullition Records, recorded material for a split with Former Members of Alfonsin, and broke up before the latter was even released. The members were Torches To Rome's Mike Kirsch, Jose Palafox (of Struggle and Swing Kids ), Mag (of Yaphet Kotto), and Chuck Shackelford (of Q Factor).
