OXOMAXOMA might be one of the first mexican bands which dared cross beyond experimentation, using less orthodox instruments such as glass bottles and plastic toys, then even created a new music instrument called "trombatron". They are a quartet formed by: José ALVAREZ (voice), Arturo ROMO (sampling, trombatrón, drums and synth), Víctor MÉNDEZ (guitars) and Armando VELASCO (keyboards and rhythm programming). .

Lixomania were one the first punk bands in Brazil, and also released one of the first punk records. They appear on the O Começo do Fim do Mundo compilation LP with a very badly recorded song - it was recorded on a walkman! Lixomania only released one record, than later changed their name to 365 and became a new wave band. 365 still exists today. .
