Hi-Fi Set (ハイ・ファイ・セット) was a Japanese chorus group from 1974 to 1994. Band members : Yamamoto Junko (山本潤子) Yamamoto Toshihiko (山本俊彦) Okawa Shigeru (大川茂) Hi-Fi Set was formed after September 1974 when three members from the recently disbanded folk song group Akai Tori decided to form their own group. Yamamoto Junko, Yamamoto Toshihiko, and Okawa Shigeru named their group Hi-Fi Set due to the help of fellow musician Hosono Haruomi. Lotek Hi-Fi are a hip hop group from the U.K. Their influences vary but draw heavily from reggae dancehall. They are a part of the Big Dada roster featuring such acts as New Flesh and Roots Manuva. As of 2007 they have one self titled EP (2003) and an LP entitled Mixed Blessings (2005).
