Status Quo are a British rock band (London, England) with strong boogie line. The group was founded by bassist Alan Lancaster and guitarist Francis Rossi in 1962. They began as a rock and roll freakbeat band called The Spectres. Dead Celebrity Status is a Canadian hip-hop band. Rappers Yas Taalat and Bobby McIntosh formed a precursor group, Project Wyze, in 1988 as young teens. The duo later collaborated with a group of punk rock musicians and became best known as a rap-metal band, but hip hop remained Yas and Bobby's first love.
