There are at least two different bands having used the name Diversia. (1) Metal band from Estonia. The first days of Diversia route back to 1995, when Darja Tanashenko, Lena Mihhejeva and Sergei Kutergin formed such a band. The very first gig was played on the 8th of March, 1996 in “Lindakivi” cultural centre. After the gig the band decided to perform that day every following year. 2008, European Year of Intercultural Dialogue. In this framework, at the initiative of the European Commission, the DIVERSIDAD project was thought up by the European Music Office (EMO) and the Diversités association. Deep Sky divers is a two man team comprised of Jon Short and David Jones formed in 2000 when they released their music on mp3.com. Their musical compositions were originally a form of therapeutic escapism (in the early 1990's) due to hectic working schedules and home lives and intended for use in film and TV scores (which never came to fruition). They have been making music on and off since then, both having other full time jobs, but taking time out to create their highly acclaimed new music. Diverse (born Kenny Jenkins in Chicago, Illinois) is an American rapper. An underground hip-hop artist, he has received critical acclaim "from knowledgeable heads worldwide". Diverse got his start in the Chicago hip-hop scene while being employed at a post office. He has worked or associated with Chicago hip-hop mainstays such as J.U.I.C.E., Copperpot and Iomos Marad.
