1. Invocation is a project formed by guitarist Tom Still in early 2009 with drummer Alex Todd-Weller, bassist Robin Saunders, and vocalist Matt Duffy joining early 2011. Guitarist James Hewitt joined early 2012 after departure of their former guitarist, Jim Bailey.
Their sound is a blend of hard hitting rhythmic riffs accompanied by epic soundscapes and melodies.
The goal is simply to create and share music they enjoy with others.
Bringing with them the tech, progressive and melodic influences that have inspired them to do so.

The Swedish Death Metal band EVOCATION was formed in the autumn of 1991 in Borås by Thomas Josefsson - bass, Jani Karvola – vocals, Marko Palmén - guitar and the two brothers Janne K. As The Convocation Of..., the band was formed by George France, Tonie Joy, and Guy Blakeslee in August of 1998. Joy had previously played in the punk, indie and emo groups Moss Icon, Universal Order of Armageddon, The Great Unraveling, and Born Against.

After rehearsing and jamming around for months, the original members Sascha K. (guitar) and Philipp B. (drums) founded the band PROVOCATION in 2004. Soon the bassplayer Nasar S. joined the band. With Steffen J. the second guitarplayer was found to fit in. Last but not least Bastian J. took over the vocalpart. With this line-up PROVOCATION did their live debut in december 2004.
