History Hexxed are an extreme metal band based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The band formed in 1996, when Owen Boden and Gerard Bentley jammed and played various cover song gigs in and around Castlewellan and Downpatrick, Co. Down, featuring numerous takes on Slayer and Sepultura classics. In 1997 guitarist Ciaran Tracey responded to an advert posted in Belfast's Doctor Roberts record store for more members to fill a permanent lineup. Nochexxx is based near Cambridge in the U.K. and since 2010 has released dancefloor-adjacent 12"s on both Werkdiscs (collaborating with legendary underground rapper Sensational) and Ramp Records. Nochexxx also records more experimental material under the derived identity CHXFX. He's released two cassettes on the Seattle, U.S.A. label Furthur Records (one being a split double cassette release with Bristol's risen star Ekoplekz, himself going as PLKZFX for the release), and another on Opal Tapes in the U.K. .
