Leiahdorus is a synthpop band on the independent A Different Drum label. Leiahdorus was created by Jason Smith in 1998. When Joey Belville of The Echoing Green acquired a demonstration tape, he took Jason under his wing and produced a demo with him. In 2000 this three track demo found its way to Todd Durrant of the synthpop label A Different Drum. This resulted in Jason being signed to an album deal. Antoon (Tom) Manders (The Hague, 24 October 1921 - Utrecht, 26 February 1972) was a Dutch artist, comedian and cabaret performer. In his later role he was particularly known as Dorus. From 1953 Manders became involved in the organization and programming of Carel Kamlag's revue-café Saint-Germain-des-Prés at the Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam. Manders then preformed as an entertainer and would develop into the vagabond Dorus. When he received the invitation of the Vara (Dutch Broadcasting company) to do something for TV, he had the café reconstructed in the TV studio.
