DiskothiQ was a lo-fi indie rock band from central southern California, led by Peter Hughes. The band released seven albums between 1994 and 1999, including The Football Albums, a double album consisting of one song about each team in the NFL. Additionally they appeared on a number of singles, split singles and compilations. They are currently inactive, but Peter Hughes has gone on to play bass with The Mountain Goats. Many of their early releases were on Sonic Enemy, a tape label run by Peter Hughes. .
September, 1996 - the foundation of the first line-up. The band is formed by Leshy (drums), Ilya (guitars) and F. (vox). The first band's name - BEDEVIL. Two weeks later Rustam joins as vocalist and keyboardist. Bassist Miguel "The Blind" comes with him. Rustam offers to change band's name to RAKOTH (RAKOT was the initial spelling). In Nick Perumov's "Chronicle of Hjorvard" Rakoth is the half-god, so-called "True Mage", who had the title Master of Darkness for using Darkness for his magic. He rose against the Young Gods accusing them of being Liars stealing mortals' freedom. After his second try...
Annorkoth was a depressive/atmospheric black metal/shoegaze project formed in Podolsk, Russian Federation in 2010 by B.M. (Blurry Lights), the only member. They were simple sounding, improvised atmospheric black metal work. From June to September 2011, some splits were published, featuring lots of different bands from all over the world and including new songs, always with a different sound, even...

An early "Sitar-sploitation" record on Deram from 1966 which has much more of an pop sound that stuff like Ananda Shankar which would come later. There are two originals on here that are in a Raga sort of mode, but it's mostly comprised of pop covers of the day. The Sitar is superimposed over the rest of the instruments which adds a nice bit of cheesiness. .
