Oscar Lopez (born 1954 in Santiago, Chile) is a Chilean-Canadian folk guitarist. Lopez moved to Canada in 1979 and settled in Calgary, Alberta. He began pursuing music as a career, becoming a popular draw on the Canadian folk festival circuit, and released his debut album, Hola, in 1989. Several of his albums have been nominated for Canada's Juno Awards, and 2000's Armando's Fire was his first Juno win, for Best Instrumental Album. He has recorded on the Narada label. The Overlanders were a British music group active during the 1960s. Originally playing folk songs, the band found success hard to come by during the 'beat' era and so converted to a more mainstream sound. Their only major hit was a cover version of The Beatles' Michelle. It which reached number one in the UK Singles Chart in January 1966, and featured arrangements from Tony Hatch. The band failed to follow up their success and came to an end soon after when singer Paul Arnold left to pursue a solo career. They thus remain as archetypal one-hit wonders. .

Their only studio album was the hit 1992 release, Born To Be A Warrior. 2. Highlander (J. Tap & Roland Ceelen) is a dutch duo that released a bunch of (Early) Hardcore/Gabber EPs in the 90s. Oscar Peterson (1925-2007) was a Canadian jazz pianist and composer. Born in Montreal, Canada, Peterson began learning trumpet and piano from his father at the age of five, but by the age of seven, after a bout of tuberculosis, he concentrated on the piano.
