A hardcore band formed in 1989 from San Diego . They thrashed about with a sound like none other. Consisting of Matt Anderson on vocals, with Ron Johnson, Scott Bartiloni and Aaron Montaigne. After they broke up in 1993, they went on to form and play with bands such as End of The Line, Antioch Arrow, Spacehorse and Clikatat Ikatowi. There is also a german Minimal musician called Heroin. He has released one self titled 12'' recording in january 2007. .
The original Gym Class Heroes formed in 1997 when Travis "Schleprok" McCoy and drummer Matt McGinley became friends during physical education class while at high school in Geneva, New York, US and joined forces with guitarist Milo Bonacci and bassist Ryan Geise. The original GCH began playing birthday parties, clubs, and festivals which eventually led to numerous larger venues throughout the northeast, including four years on Warped Tour (2003, 2004, 2006, 2008). THE LOCAL ART are a four piece indie band from Japan formed in 1996 by Satoshi Okada(Vo.&Dr.) and Ikko Ono(Ba.) as band name "SHAMPOOHAT" In 2002, they changed their name to "THE LOCAL ART" and Yokouchi Takemasa(Gt.) and Manabu Inagaki(Ba.) joined the band with Ikko changing to Guitar. This band is know for the unusual band composition where Drummer is the Vocal. .
