There are at least two bands named Juez: 1. Juez, a Danish jazz band. 2. Juez, based in Brooklyn, NY, is self-described as "breakbeat klezmer jazz;" they draw on klezmer modes in a unique exploration of jazz and progressive rock rhythms with influences ranging from Yemenite to hip hop. While their compositions are experimental, their sound isn't inaccessibly dissonant. It is this formulaic blending of styles and their exciting ridiculous antics on stage that gives this group such a wide appeal.
