Toddlers began with singer Nathan Toben writing songs alone in the vein of contemporary crooner eccentrics Scott Walker and Roy Orbison. In the last year, the band has grown in number and vision to include Noah Dehmer on drums, Ellis Anderson on bass and Missy Thangs on keys. Together, their hearts weave ribbons of song, placing familiar traditions of the past into contemporary, even harsh contexts, with elements of post-punk, electronic, nightwalker drag rock, or pop noir. .
