What do you get when you mix a classically trained, post-punk, disco-head; a Latin freestyle, Chicago house freak turned minimal-techno auteur; and thousands of records? You get Brooklyn's anything but inbred child: RUNAWAY. The duo have been informing each other's tastes since meeting at the Sonic Groove record store in early 2000, but Jacques Renault and Marcos Cabral didn't start producing their sound together until 2006. Due to the dirty disco edit release "Shadows" backed with "Ain't Afraid to Beg" on Wurst Edits that gained them coveted spots on the Glimmers' Eskimo V Mix and the Lindstrom and Prins Thomas'...
Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO) is an influential Japanese electropop band, formed in 1978. They are renowned as a major influence in popular music, and for pioneering the electropop music genre. The principal members are Haruomi Hosono (bass), Yukihiro Takahashi (drums) and Ryuichi Sakamoto (keyboards).

The band's lineup would fluctuate throughout its original incarnation, although Lynne, Tandy and Bevan would remain constant members.
They incorporated the sounds of string ensembles, vocoders and dub echos into rock songs, thereby creating a very sophisticated studio version of rock. The musical content of ELO songs...
