Shahinaz studied music at th Music Institute in Cairo. She has been singing for 7 years and sings solo with Slim Sahab at the Opera. Her favorite singers are Oum Kalthoum, Farid El Atrache and George Wassouf. She loves cats, seafood, and reading. She got her big break after participating in Star Maker, a short-lived Egyptian talent search program. She then released her first single, Oulli Oulli, a remake of Anna Vissi's To Poly Poly. Though her debut album, Ala Eih, was received quite well in Egypt, it wasn't until Shahinaz released her second album that she achieved true success....
