The one-man band Celebrity Pilots is the brainchild of singer/songwriter Chris Sheehan. Formerly of the indie rock band the All Golden, Sheehan started the Celebrity Pilots in late 2003. Sheehan builds upon the experimental, space rock style of his former band for a cohesive pop set. Beneath the Pavement, a Beach! was issued on Sunken Treasure in fall 2005. When Sheehan isn't fronting the Celebrity Pilots, he balances his time between touring as a keyboard player with Bob Pollard and session work with Doug Gillard. .
