The Mundanes were an early-1980s Rhode Island-based New Wave band featuring future They Might Be Giants member John Linnell.
Their only official release was a 7" single "Make It The Same", backed with "Funnier Than Love" and "Empty Boulevards". .
The Mundane was a Latvian rock band from Tukums, Latvia. Formed in 1998, the band was composed of guitarist and vocalist Gatis Zaķis, guitarist and vocalist Kristaps Andiņš, bassist Mārtiņš Zaķis and drummer Dagnis Neilands.
Their debut album was released by UPE on June 18, 2002.
The band gave their final concert in 2012.
