Cousteau is a London-based British band who enjoyed considerable success in Italy and the U.S. from 2001 to 2003. In 2005, with a revised line-up they released the album Nova Scotia which, due to legal reasons, was released in the U.S. in 2006 under the group name Moreau. Their best known song remains the single "The Last Good Day of the Year", from their eponymous debut album. .

Marcel Cousteau was born 1981 in Freiberg in the east of Germany. His first touch with electronic music was at the age of 3. Then he heard Neue Deutsche Welle and Kraftwerk. Later at the age of 10 he heard Chicago house and Detroit techno. With 15 years old he visited his first techno parties and in 2000 he started with DJing. Since 2003 he has produced his own stuff. .
