PURETTY (퓨리티, ピュリティ) was a Korean girl group formed by DSP Entertainment. The group's name is a portmanteau of the words "Pure" and "Pretty". The group debuted first in Japan in 2012 under Universal Music Japan. Their debut single "Check It☆Love" (チェキ☆ラブ) was used as the ending theme for the anime Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future. Usually performing solo and recording by means of vintage, outdated or budget equipment, centered around acoustic guitar and vocals. Garrett was born in Fort Huachuca, AZ and raised in Mechanicville, NY, influenced and confounded early on by a found 8track copy of White Light/White Heat and a free outdoor John Prine performance, as well as, SST and Tomato recording artists.
