Phoney is the pseudonym of Jaime Korbee. The Dutch electronica producer was born in 1986 in the city of Leiden and raised in a small town near to it, Oegstgeest. There he lived with his sister, brother and parents who had a horseback riding-school. However, Phoney wasn’t really interested in Horses and preferred playing football at a young age, and making music when he was a little bit older.
