There are at least two bands who are, or have been, known by the name of "Waterdog." One was a Pop-Punk band that released a self-titled album in 1995. Little information is available about this Waterdog, which may have been based out of Gainesville, FL. The second band named Waterdog is described below. It all began in 1997 when Martin Ekelund met Patrik Berglin and started to discuss music. They soon found out that they share the same taste in music.
