Океан Печали (Okean Pechali, Ocean of Sorrow) is a doom metal band from Podolsk, Russia. The band was founded by Vladimir Timofeev (guitars, keyboards, programming) & Ilya Remizov (bass, vocals) in 2000. Other members are Korrozia (Olesya Muromskaya - rhythm guitar, keys, backing vocals) & Igor Shuralev (growl/clean vocals).
The band released a demo in 2002. In 2005 their first full-length album "Таинство Зимы" (Tainstvo Zimy, Mystery of Winter) was released.

Океан Моей Надежды (Ocean Of My Hope) is an alternative rock band from Saint-Petersburg, Russia formed in January 2006. In the band's latest release Волны (Waves), they are successful in fusing various forms of music (metal, grunge, alternative, post-hardcore) with clean emotive vocals, accompanying harmonies, and intermittent growling.
