Fonkelhorse (a.k.a. f0nkelh0rz by those players deep in the Scene) started in the final days of 2006. Based probably on a World of Warcraft pornographic fan image, the movement quickly rose beyond such earthly affairs as sex and grew into the statement it is today.
To "Shine as a (fonkel)horse" might mean anything from being so hilariously bad that it's good again to just plain awesomeness. Fonkelhorse is currently being branded, but warming the iron that can mark such a shiny Unicorn takes a long time, so experts do not expect an immediate full scale release.
