Bobcore was a term coined to describe the music of Tajfel Nipple (Robert Stephenson) around the turn of the 21st century (Tajfel Nipple has since been renamed as hai! Robotto .

Bobcore is predominantly electronic music produced entirely on a computer, usually employing the use of very simple synth sounds and minimal production. Thus, post-Bobcore songs often sound similar to demoscene or chiptune music, but employ contemporary music software as opposed to vintage computers, consoles and software.

Bobcore songs are often (but not always) upbeat and "poppy" in nature, and often feature elaborate synthesizer solos.

Tajfel Nipple also produced several bobcore covers of songs by artists from very different genres, such as System Of A Down (Chop Suey), Korn (Blind), and Free (All Right Now). A number of these songs enjoyed some success among local nightclub DJs at the time. .
