Broniecore is a sub-genre of the Brony music culture (A Brony is a fan of the popular HUB cartoon My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Which premiered in October 2010) Bronies are usually teenage and adult males, despite the common misconception that the cartoon is only attended for pre-teen and younger girls. Despite the constant hate, prejudice, and stereotypes Bronies receive, they continue to stick with both the MLP: FIM canon show as well as many fan-made materials.
The music is music either made by Bronies and can have various subjects outside of MLP, but contain MLP references or the music is strictly to the My Little Pony / Brony community. Brony music can vary in genres from EDM, rap, rock, pop, and other genres. And many artists either use lines and phrases as titles or within the song-play. As well as other themes that relate to the show or the fanons surrounding it. .
