Jump Da Fuck Up music (also known as jumpdafuckup, jump da fuc up, jump the fuck up and JDFU) is a genre which fuses heavy metal music (usually nu metal and groove metal) with the Wigger attitude and theatrics of white hip hop music. The term originates from (former) nu metal band Soulfly's song "Jumpdafuckup". Some famous Jump Da Fuck Up acts who have achieved worldwide success include Rage Against the Machine (often considered the godfathers of Jump Da Fuck Up music), Korn, Limp Bizkit, Suicidal Tendencies and Slipknot. Some new school Jump Da Fuck Up bands include Five Finger Death Punch, Emmure, Walls of Jericho and Winds of Plague. These new school Jump Da Fuck Up bands tend to have metalcore/deathcore Backgrounds. The genre shares many traits with wigger slam music, however the two are not related. .
