Neo visual bands are bands formed from 2000 onward that differ from those of the late 80s and 90s. Musicially, they are influenced by the original visual kei bands, and not as heavily influenced by western rock and metal as their predecessors. Visually, there is a wider range of costuming taken anywhere from street fashion to cosplay inspired looks. .
