"Salsoul" or Salsoul Records was a combination of Latin music, the Philly Sound (Philadelphia International), disco and a little bit of African polyrythms. The mixture of these styles and genres was the foundation for Garage music and Chicago House. While Casablanca Records was for American Bandstand and FM radio Salsoul was for the Paradise Garage. .
