This is a tag that covers the bands which are wrongly tagged as 'twee' on last.fm. 'Twee', particularly in the UK, is a term that was used during the first wave of indiepop in a derogatory sense. Sometime in the '90s it was co-opted as another name for this music and the negative connotations were lost on some. As many of us still find the term insulting, we are naturally horrified that it's still being used, hence this tag. .
