Serdar Öztop is a rock guitarist from Turkey. His sytle of music can be summarised as instrumental Turkish rock. He uses both of modern rock sound and Turkish motives. Playing the fretless electric guitar also contributes to his diverse sytle. Previously working with many of the reputable members of the Turkish rock scene, Serdar Öztop relased his first solo album, Sükut, in summer 2002. Serdar Somuncu was born on 3 June 1968 in Istanbul and is a Turkish-German performer and director. He studied music, acting and theatrical direction in Maastricht. He was first noted with his long lasting tour called 'Nachlass eines Massenmörders' in which he play-read his own interpretation of selected passages from the book 'Mein Kampf' (German for 'My battle') by Adolf Hitler. In 2000 Sumuncu started another series of readings presenting excerpts from a famous speech from 18 February 1943 by the Reich's minister of propaganda Joseph Goebbels.
